“Go Serve… with a heart like Jesus”
The Southern Florida District Nazarene Missions International looks forward to having you join in fellowship and celebration on Friday, March 31st at 7:00pm for their annual NMI Convention. This year’s theme is “Go Serve… with a heart like Jesus”. You will hear exciting stories of what God is doing around the world through missions… Hear a first-hand report from our Work and Witness trip to Africa Nazarene University, and how God has been using the Southern Florida District over the past 50 years in serving others.
Our speaker this year is Rev. Carlos De La Cruz. He currently serves as the Field Strategy Coordinator for the Meso-Central Field, which consists of the countries of:
- Panama
- Costa Rica
- Nicaragua
- Puerto Rico
- Dominican Republic
- Cuba
Carlos and his wife, Amantina have served in the Church of the Nazarene as pastors for 36 years; 21 of them as District Superintendents in the Dominican Republic, and for the past five and a half years in Panama. They are passionate about working with leaders to make Christlike disciples. Hear how God is using their talents and experience, in partnership with others to bring the Good News in unique ways to those who need it the most.
Our celebration begins sharply at 7:00pm… the first 250 guests to arrive will receive a special gift from SFD NMI. There will also be a very special musical presentation during this year’s convention- celebrating “50 years in 15 minutes”. Come with a heart ready to serve!
