Pompano Church of the Nazarene

Encounter is a unique opportunity for teens in 6th-12th grade to experience a mini mission trip. Join us as we serve the Pompano community and support the Pompano Church of the Nazarene through a range of activities both on and off campus. If you’ve never been on a mission trip, this is a fantastic chance to get a taste of what they’re like.

What to Expect: Serve the Community: Engage in various service projects to make a positive impact.
Worship and Fellowship: Connect with other teens from South Florida, worship together, and enjoy meaningful activities.
Fun and Learning: Experience a blend of service, worship, and fun that will give you a glimpse into mission trip life.
Packing list: Please bring toiletries, a sleeping bag or bedding, a modest swimsuit, a towel, a refillable water bottle, a pillow, a Bible, and a journal.
We look forward to seeing you there for a weekend of service, worship, and community!
Schedule
November 8-10, 2024
Friday:
7:00 PM: Registration begins.
Before Arrival: Please have dinner.
Evening: Worship, late-night snack, and potentially start service work.
Saturday:
Morning: Breakfast and devotions.
Day: Service work as needed, with a lunch break.
Evening: Sunset worship and dinner at the beach.
Sunday:
Morning: Breakfast and cleanup.
After Cleanup: Worship services with Pompano Church of the Nazarene.
