Bradenton – For the first time in eight years, our district missions (NMI) and youth (NYI) organizations will combine annual conventions April 22 & 23 at Bradenton First Nazarene.
“We our excited to welcome NYI to partner with Missions this year. Our youth add energy and focus us to the future” said Missions President Dennis Moore.
The special convention speakers will be Rev. Scott & Emily Armstrong who serve as Nazarene missionaries in Dominican Republic. The have been serving as missionaries since 2004, having previously served in Guatemala and Panama.
The Armstrongs have a passion helping youth identify their call to missions. They also guide Latin youth to become self-supporting missionaries in numerous mega-cities.
“The Armstrongs are amazing speakers who touch and impact all who hear them,” said Moore.
This will also be the 31st and final mission convention under the leadership of President Dennis Moore. Special recognition is being given to those who have ever served with him over the past 31 years.
It is anticipated new NMI leadership will be elected at this convention along with delegates to the 2017 Global Mission Convention in Indianapolis.
