Keeping our children and youth safe is essential! Your Southern Florida District Church of the Nazarene wants to make sure YOU see the warning signs and are equipped with the knowledge and tools to protect them.
All ministries abhor child sexual abuse. Most claim to have ‘zero-tolerance’ for abuse, but there is a difference between opposition to abuse in concept and having preventative, proactive initiatives in place to protect children and youth. MinistrySafe helps churches reduce the risk of child sexual abuse. To address this risk, every church should have a system of protection in place.
All pastors and children/youth leaders and workers are encouraged to participate in this FREE MinistrySafe training on Saturday, April 26th, from 10am to 2pm. Your Southern Florida District is sponsoring this event with the full support of our District Superintendent, Dr. Brian Wilson. Training will be held at the Lake Placid Camp & Conference Center and lunch will be provided.
Please make every effort to attend and take the information back to use at your local church to implement there. All those serving children and youth in your local church and at a district camp are required to have this MinistrySafe training. Our kids are important…this world is broken…let’s do our very best to keep them safe!
