Through the Wilderness
Life can feel like a vast and uncertain wilderness, full of challenges, distractions, and unknown paths. But even in the midst of it all, God is making a way. This year, we invite you to embark on a journey of faith, discovering how to trust God through every twist and turn of life’s wilderness.
Isaiah 43:19 declares, “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” No matter where you are in your faith, God is leading you forward, providing strength, direction, and renewal.
Throughout this camp, we will explore what it means to walk faithfully through life’s uncertainties. Through powerful worship, dynamic preaching, and meaningful discussions, we will learn how to trust God’s guidance, rely on His provision, and find hope in His promises. Together, we will discover the importance of prayer, the power of perseverance, and the beauty of relying on God when the path ahead seems unclear.

Speakers | Pastor Jake Beard
Pastor Jake Beard was raised in Bradenton, Florida, and grew up attending Southern Florida District Camp 2025! Jake is a 2019 graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University and an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene.
Jake is married to his beautiful wife, Carrington, and they have 1 sweet puppy, named Winnie.
Jake passionately serves as the Youth Pastor at EstillNaz in Estill Springs, Tennessee – He is passionate about preaching God’s Word, discipleship, and seeing this generation of teenagers’ step boldly into a walk with God. He can’t wait to worship, bring the Word, and have an unforgettable week with everyone at camp!
